Discover now RJHH TOP 20 for the month of January 2023
The first RJHH TOP20 ranking of the year 2023 is available, and there is no surprise: the cream of the crop of Japanese rap once again managed to climb to the top of the list. Among the twenty selected titles, we find the most prominent names on the hip-hop scene at the moment, with artists who have managed to win over the public and maximize their visibility on YouTube.
The group Namedaruma takes the top spot in this ranking with their title “ALL DAY”, which has managed to seduce fans thanks to production from GREEN ASSASSIN DOLLAR. Rapper CYBER RUI, on the other hand, takes second place with her title “FEEL THE RAIN” with Ralph, an energetic track that she is known for. In third place, we find the young rapper Watson, with his title “DARK ROOM” from the EP BRIGHT FUTURE. The remix of the track “Candemic” with Candee and JP THE WAVY takes fourth place, thanks to its catchy beat and festive vibe that recalls summer parties. Finally, DJ CHARI accompanied by DJ SHINTARO completes the top 5 with their title “UZUMAKI”, with contributions from Yurufuwa Gang, OZworld, and Masayoshi Limori.
This first RJHH TOP20 ranking of 2023 demonstrates that the Japanese rap scene is more dynamic than ever, with talented artists who know how to mix genres and influences to create original tracks. We can’t wait to discover the next titles of the coming months.
